Hi,
I have had my s2 for about 17 months now, everytime I check for updates it searches and comes back with no updates available - is this normal ? ( or O2 normal ?) surely, after that length of time, there must be software updates ?......... or not ?
Thanks in advance,
Kenny

That's the update you need ICS. Have you disabled the firewall whilst trying to update?

I would suggest disabling the firewall and antivirus to get a clean install of Kies. It can be very temperamental!

Quick update :- have installed Kies, plugged phone, phone is recognised, can move files from one to the other and kies recognises that there is indeed a newer firmware version
when I click on the firmware upgrade button, nothing really happens, apart from a new screen opening with nothing in it ?
according to kies my current firmware version is PDA:KF3/PHONE:KE7/CSC:KG2 (O2U)
latest firmware version available is PDA:LP3/PHONE:LPR/CSC:LP4 (O2U)
I have no idea what any of that means, anyone help ?
Thanks
