I recently lost my phone and re-ordered a new sim card. A block was put on the phone, but this has now been found - will I be able to access messages, etc from my phone or will it be unuseable?

@Anonymous if you reported your phone lost to O2 and a block was put on it, then you will have to contact O2 again http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus to get the block removed before you can use the phone again.

The block won’t stop you accessing any info on the phone already but it will prevent anyone from using it as a phone unless the block is removed.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hello @Anonymous

When handset or SIM card is reported as lost or stolen, the current Fraud & Security processes are really strict. That is why you have to call O2 as they've suggested.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do!

Thanks @MI5 and @Glory1 for your help Cheers
