My phone is now stuck on the 'HTC quietly brilliant' screen (not the word I'd use right now), has anyone got any suggestions, or is it back to O2 with it?

Just tried, it goes to a black screen with the little phone icon on and green arrow as if its foing an update, then a few seconds later reboots back to the HTC white screen.

Seems like its kaput and I'll have to visit o2 😞

Thanks for your help anyway

Press and hold vol down and power for around 10 secs. This should simulate a battery pull.

Press and hold the volume up button then press the power button. Select reboot from the menu.

Yes. What ever you do keep charger plugged in. Read all sorts of horror stories about people letting battery run down when problems occur. Try the vol down and power thing again, this time keep them pressed till your past the HTC screen. Hopefully this will take you into the boot loader.

Thanks, I've done that and got to the bootloader (white screen with options like 'factory reset' etc), any idea on what to do from here?
