oneplus 3T FM Radio

Google search says internal FM antenna not connected to headphone socket in UK market to deliberately disable FM Radio. 

O2 online Store and elsewhere on O2 website shows under the tech spec and capabilities of the 'phone:

"FM Radio - YES" in three sperate places.

How can I get offline FM Radio on my oneplus 3T ?

If it's like the Xperia XZ, the fm radio ability is built into the system on a chip but some manufacturers are disabling it at a hardware level by not completing the circuit to the antenna thus rendering fm radio inoperable.
Your only hope is to use network based radio options by means of streaming apps

Someone with the phone needs to confirm if it's connected or not but if there is an fm radio app on phone by default it will be connected.

It's not, Oneplus devices don't have fm radio and lack the capability at a hardware level.

Earlier models used to be missing the fm chip, now that it's present on cpu, the manufacturers ground the antenna instead of routing it to the 3.5mm jack

 my posts are to warn others who may specifically want this capoability with out streaming, as o2 continue to advertise quite clearly "FM Radio - YES"
