note 2 freezing

My note 2 has started to freeze randomly. Only for a couple of seconds but when i try and go back or scroll pages it will freeze or sometimes it says that particular thing im using has stopped working e.g internet,instagram etc. Any ideas what i can do to resolve this??? Thanks

Nope still doing it. Had to pull the battery out earlier to unfreeze/turn off

Are you reinstalling the same apps after you did the reset? If it's an app causing the problem putting the same ones back on won't help?

I have not added any new apps that I didnt have before. So dont think its that

No you mis understand. If you have an app that is playing up, reinstalling it will still continue to make the phone play up. You should do the factory reset and try it without any apps to prove this or not. Battery saving apps and Facebook are known to give issues already.....

Just noticed the internet it freezes most. Havent changed anything on that

But have you deleted your apps ?

Im in the middle of doing it but it wont let me uninstall the google play music app

Just remove the ones it will allow. The others are part of your OS and cannot be deleted without rooting, but they shouldn't cause you any problems either....

How do I root the phone? What does it mean as I didn't have google play music when I got the phone but when I uninstall it stays on the phone and says it needs updating then after half hour or so it updates itself and gets readded
