Make sure you unlock your phone first, if required http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-Services/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-ca...
Hopefully, you are at the end of your contract too? Otherwise there will be charges to cancel.

Yes, good advice from MI5. If you're on a  Pay Monthly contract and you still have time left, you can't just walk away from it.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Thinking of changing network implies you haven't checked the coverage for other networks. Try out some free sims first to make sure your choice has good coverage or see what friends or family are on other networks and their opinions.

Hi @Anonymous and a warm welcome to the community forum.

Here is the help link on moving your number to another Network

Pac Code -> http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Obtaining-a-PAC-Code-from-the-O2-Network/m-p/544270#U544270

Please do not remove any direct debits in place from O2 for a couple of months even after you get your zero bill.

This is because if O2 do try to take a payment and it defaults ,this then could leave you with debt collectors and at the extreme a default on your Credit File which can be a battle to remove even if it's a mistake.

Take care.
