Solved: motorola moto g4 4th gen

Hi does anyone know why my motorola moto g4 phone wont detect the sim card i only just got it for pay monthly contract got the phone through carephone warehouse.

I was told to wait 24 hours and it should be activated but bloody thing wont detect the sim card its slotted in as it should be. dont understand why its not working

Go back and ask them to try another sim in it.
If another sim works you know you have a faulty sim, if not, you have a faulty phone and they will replace it for you.

thanks went to a shop in exetewr and found it was faulty handset so all sorted now
