mobile network not available.....galaxy s2

i am unable to make calls or texts and if i try it says "mobile network not available"

i have changed sim, erased everything and restored factory settings....to no avail.

i have had my phone 1year out of a 2year contract so as u can imagine im not v happy 😞

 

anybody have any advice please????? xx

Aha slight_smile

It can take upto 24 hours to be fully activated. Keep rebooting the phone every hour until you get connected. If not back up and running by the morning get onto CS to check for you again.... Phew !!!

Go into settings >about phone and see if it has a device id and IMEI number listed....

When you changed your sim did you get your account swapped over to the new sim ? This is probably something really simple but I'm missing it at the moment, sorry....
