Topic.
My Galaxy S3 has cosmetic damage to the base of the handset, but I'd rather not send it away and pay £50 on the insurance to get it fixed as I do not have a spare phone, is there any way I could get it repaired without this cost attached? I don't mind paying a little but cannot afford £50.

Try a Google search for S3 spare parts and do it yourself.
I don't understand the bit about insulting you.

I've been asking questions on here of late, and certain people have insulted me purely because they don't like the question, this person was reported.

Well you ask for advice and often don't take it, then ask the same question again.
This confuses people and makes it difficult to help you.

Hi Richard,
Perhaps you could save up the excess fee and then make the claim.
In today's economic climate we are all aware on how funds can be difficult to accumulate.
This thread looks a little broken or some of the posts have been removed etc so I'm not really able to follow it properly to see how you feel that you have been insulted.
I can only reiterate that we are all members here to help and assist and hopefully sometimes with a little friendly banter inserted where appropriate.
