huawei mate 20 pro screen issues

At the end of October I bought a huawei mate 20 pro. In the so-called pre order and after some time of use, I noticed a green glow on the edges of the screen. My question is if I report to the O2 store, exchange my phone for a new one

@michals

No they wont exchange for new. It will be a refurb.

You best bet is to contact Huawei direct. https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/

They will have to check the phone first so it will be sent away They won't just change it I'm afraid.

Re: huawei mate 20 pro screen issues

It's worth trying customer services first as this is a known issue with the first batch of phones.
They were all replaced by Huawei so O2 should be aware and have good stock now.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
OnePlus 6 (O2 & Sfr), Z3 Tablet (Three UK), iPhone 8+ (EE)

Yeah, you'll more than likely need to speak to more than one person but most agents will know about the issue with mate 20 oleds.
You should get a new device from the replacement stock imo as there's no guarantee any replacement display won't be from the affected initial batch.

IF you are thinking about sending it back to O2, the first question I would be asking @michals is Will I be getting a NEW phone as this is a 'known issue'.

If they can't guarantee that, then you really are better off talking to Huawei. (who certainly will know about the problem.)
