In that case should I be worried that I've had nothing so far?

How to check for updates:

You will have to check with HTC for further help.

Thanks.

I'd already tried checking for updates that way, but no luck. I'll check with HTC as you suggest, just wondering how these batch updates are organised, and how long to expect to wait.

Just a couple of last questions if anyone does know... to confirm, the OS updates for an unlocked phone are definitely handled by the manufacturer (HTC), not the carrier?

And also, knowing it's still the same model, locked or unlocked, will every HTC One S phone get the jelly bean update, or is it only certain phones? The only real worry I have is not getting the update without rooting my phone... If I know it's ensured, I can patiently sit tight (just beginning to question whether I will get the new OS, which was one of the reasons I bought the model).

Also, sorry this is going off-topic, and is less related to o2 now, just a bit tired of searching around, only to find non-answers...

Where did you get the phone from? Is it a UK phone?

It was ordered from amazon.co.uk, and I am in the UK, so I believe so (sold by Amazon EU S.a.r.L., and bought during December).

May not be UK spec which would explain why you don't have an update. Check your CID on the phone. The following CIDs appear to be part of the rollout: HTC_001 HTC_E11 HTC_203 HTC-102 HTC_405 HTC_Y13 HTC_A07 HTC_304 HTC_M27 HTC_032 HTC_016

Well it definitely matches up according to what you say. My CID is HTC_001, so I'd assume I should be getting the update... Like I say, I'll check up with HTC, and phone up some tech support if needed, but thanks a bunch for the support guys!

Still no update?!? If its been released why can I not get it after 4 days? It's taking so long considering google released jelly bean in July.

Hi guys,

I have used Jelly Bean for a few days now on my HTC One S and have noticed that my battery life has decreased, I normally get around 2 days on most days, now I'm getting 1 day half!

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this may be it's an app that came from the update I'm not sure!"!
