deleted emails reappearing on galaxy s3 mini

Anonymous

Emails deleted reappear as unread even if trash folder has been emptied. It seems as thought the mail box has to contain about 23 messages. Any ideas on how to resolve?

|Server replication errors will pull previous read emails again or it could be the way you are set up. My Virgin email does this regularly but it's a Virgin issue, not a phone issue.

Make sure you have your email set up to delete from server in your settings.

Thank you
I would rather not delete them from the server as I also use a laptop. I didn't have the problem with my HTC just the S3 mini (only had it a week!).
