data usage exceeded

Has anyone had a 'data usage exceeded'notice in the last few days?

I NEVER use all my data allowance but suddenly I had a software download message and within a few seconds my data usage exceeded messagepopped  up. The download apears to have created a 'Select launcher' giving me the option to use Touchwiz Home or touchwiz easyhome - what the ++++ are they??  I do not want either of them and cannot find a way of removing them!!

It sounds like your phone has updated it's firmware and used mobile data to do it.
In settings, you can select to do firmware updates on wifi only to prevent this.
Touchwiz is the stock Samsung launcher and for normal use you need to select Touchwiz Home and tick the "use default" box so you don't keep getting asked to choose.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
