anyone had any bother with the battery on samsung galaxy s3?? mine went completely dead for no reason and wouldnt recharge - managed to get ot back with factory restore but seems to be playing up again

Factory reset will address software issues but not hardware issues. Sounds like either battery or charging circuit is faulty, suggest you take it in for a repair.
