Zperia Z uses USA settings despite Language being set English UK

Contacts app has 'State' fld, the 'Postcode' fld is really zipcode as it does not accept letters and the phone number formats are all USA, not UK styles.

Looks like firmware goof

Hi,

I don't know exactly what's causing the problem but could you try this app and see if it resolves your issue?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.c_lis.ccl.morelocale

Let me know how you get on?

Hi,
Tried MoreLocale but not clear on what it was telling me: showed "English(United Kingdom) en GB N/A" at top of app screen. Assumed 'N/A' means 'not applicable' or nor available but got similar 'N/A' when picking English(USA).
Thanks for your interest.
Regards

From a quick google search it seems that your software likes the US locale and if you go to playstore and type in locale there should be a few apps which could fix it.

Give one or 2 a try and see what happens.

Also, is the contact issue just with contacts on gmail or is it even if you create a new sim contact?
