XperiaL1 - can't receive photos with texts

Says it all in the subject title above  ^  ^  ^  ^  ^  

It will be something I've inadvertantly done, not knowing att. It can be annoying eg when my sister takes nice photos of my mum at the nursing home when we are outside in the beautiful colourful gardens.

Any help would be gratefully received, thank you.

I apologize @MI5 , but I am struggling with this

I know I am hard to deal with regarding anything IT ... but ... I don't do it on purpose ... just find it all sooo difficult

I am getting exasperated at my own ineptitule, as usual *sighs*

I don't download photos

I use copy and paste to transfer photos from my phone to Facebook

I use copy and paste photos to Facebook ... then ... copy and paste photos to Facebook to the 02 community. I know it is quite easy for me to do this ... I then go and delete photo off Facebook.

@Cleoriff has repeatedly given me good instructions ... I have saved them to my Dropbox for further examination when I am *in the zone*

It's only for MMS that you need mobile data on.
Any other pictures will download fine over WIFI.
