It will be something I've done and not really known about it att.

I use my phone a lot to set an alarm. Really inconvenient not to be able to do this. I have gone into settings and tried to pin the symbol to the Home screen, but it hasn't worked.

Any help would be gratefully received, thank you.

@RunrigForever

If I remeber the Sony method correctly, you tap and hold on the app you want then drag to the top of the screen where it says "add to homescreen"

There's a pinch and drag method also as shown in this video:

Thank you very much @Cleoriff for sending your pm to me yesterday.

I was not in a position then to put it into action. As ever, you explain what I have to do in a way in which I can understand.

If you will consider putting the information again here on the thread, then I can give you kudos. Your decision of course. I like giving kudos when someone has helped me.

However, I won't be using the 'Accept As Solution' option because it upsets me not being fair to eg @MI5 has helped me above  ^  ^  ^  ^  ^

@RunrigForever

As I said on your other thread, you and I were exchanging PM's about a different matter. We don't discuss PM content openly on the forum.

Therefore as before, MI5 has given you a better answer than mine, he is the one who should get the solution..

No issue at all.

Hello @MI5

I have managed to pin a symbol referring to Apps and can easily access what I want ... = ... clock symbol to set an alarm.

I don't want to post a screen shot as it has personal information on eg Name(sister)Surname.

Thank you, as always, for your help smiling
