Xperia T not turning on

Anonymous
Not applicable

I woke up this morning to find my Xperia T turned off (it was fully charged and working fine when I went to bed last night) and now it won't even turn on! When i plug it in to charge I get nothing and the device is definitely not wet in any way, just slightly warm on the back. I've pressed and held the power button for 8-10 seconds and it won't turn on. I've had this phone for about 4 months and have so far been really impressed with it - absolutely NO problems until this morning! Can anyone help?

Unfortuntely this is a known fault with some of the earlier Xperia T's. Sony suggest holding power down while connecting the charger and if that doesnt work try leaving it connected for 24 hours.

However my wifes T has also just died and neither of those tricks worked so its been sent off for repair. Thankfully Sony have extended the warranty for all phone which display this issue so pop down to your nearest O2 store and have them send it off.

I work for O2 but my comments and opinions posted here are solely my own and do not reflect those of Telefonica.

Try holding volume up key at the same time as the power button for a few seconds. This is a soft reboot.
