I've been using the extra width to watch 16:9 content and then use the extra space for another app.

You can multi task using the multi window app shortcut or you can press the square icon at the bottom right and press the logo of the apps you have loaded and select split screen.

Hey @Meaker , I've just spotted your topic and advice above on the multitasking/split screen. Handy feature! Any other features you like with the Xperia 1 II? :slight_smile:

Edited to add, just tagging in @viridis who is our resident Sony fan/expert in case he's around. Did you get the Xperia 1 II yet on your end? :slight_smile:

Nice one @viridis  :grin:

Did you try the split screen too that @Meaker mentioned above?

Yup, many many times.
In fact the best part is that the windows are scalable, so it's easy to get almost full 16:9 in portrait and a almost other full 16:9 video in landscape at bottom.

I'm sure someone is working on a review of some sorts and will go into much more detail of the multi screen feature as well as all the new features, especially the camera.
Pretty sure.

The battery life to drive the mutli tasking has been good, the headphone jack is decent and the screen is very nice to look at.

The biggest weakness in my opinion is the signal strength under 4g and wifi, it's a level below my Note 9. (not notches, speed testing I mean)

I always wish for good battery life on phones, especially as I do a lot of mobile gaming and after 20 minutes, 70% has gone (my phone is a few years old now though). :sweat_smile:

@viridis  Can't wait!
