Wifi calling on a galaxy a52s 5g

Hi all,

I have wifi calling switched on in my account and switched on on my phone and was wondering if wifi calling only kicks in when I have absolutely no phone signal. I'm only asking because I can only get it to work in flight mode and then it disappears when you turned flight mode off.

Any help would be appreciated

Some phones have a setting for wifi priority in call settings but otherwise yours is working as expected.

@MI5 Thanks for your reply. You must forgive me but i'm not very technical minded but where would I find the wifi priority switch ?? so sorry so it could be the case that wifi calling will only kick in when I have no phone signal is that right ??

Depending on your phone yes, it may only kick in when there's no signal.

If there is an option it will be on the same settings page that you use to turn wifi calling on.
