Hi
I am having problems with email messages sent from my mobiler not being delivered to the recipient.
I use Kcom (formerly Eclpise) for my email.
My incoming mail works fine.
For my outgoing email I use the O2 server as advised (smpt.o2.co.uk)
Emails that I send to a btinternet.co.uk or to an hotmail account appear to send ok but never get delivered.
Is this a known problem and is there a solution (other than have to send using a different email account)
Thanks

Like this for Kcom:
Incoming IMAP mail server | imap.karoo.co.uk | Port 143 |
Outgoing mail server | smtp.karoo.co.uk | Port 25 |
Incoming SSL | No | |
Outgoing SSL | No | |
Login ID or Username | Your full KCOM email address | |
Password | Your KCOM password |

As o2 shut down there servers you need to use another server for your outgoing emails

Solved but not resolved.
KCom/Eclpise Customer support finally gave a proper reply instead of passing the buck to O2.
"I can appreciate the frustration - the issue you are facing is one that is well documented but is also integral to the security of the mailbox for legacy service options such as the mailbox associated with your connection.
Although we still support this service option it is not one that is available to new customers - In fact we do not offer any new residential service options anymore.
If you use any other email service you can always use their outgoing mail server instead."
They are only interested in business users not residential users.
