WIFI Calling S8 Oreo Issue

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have the Oreo update for the S8 (unbranded due to having contract through CPW).

One thing that I have noticed is that the WIFI calling ability has been taken off (had throughout the beta)...is this something that is going to be re-enabled through a patch update at all by O2?

We are told the S8 will work on an OXM CSC.

I take it that there isnt any news on this at all?

Would be nice to be able to make calls when at home (as soon as I go through my front door...no signal due to RSJs blocking outside signals).

I have the same issue after upgrading to Oreo. When is a new patch being released? Or how do I downgrade to older firmware?

No one has said a patch will be released, but as said above, it should be working and others with Oreo have it working,
Try removing wifi calling from your device details in your MyO2 and then re-add it to see if that helps.
