Visual voicemail on android causing crashes

Hi all, about two days ago my phone Pixel 6 started continuously restarting on its own. After trying various things, I tracked it down to visual voicemail. I used visual voicemail feature for years with O2 and find it very convenient. After turning visual voicemail off, the phone crashes stopped. I decided to turn it back on just to give it a try, and the phone crashed immediately after receiving the O2 text with “Thanks for turning on visual voicemail". Has anyone encountered this? Is there any info from O2 about visual voicemail issues? Would be great if I can enable it again…

Can't say I've a problem here with a Pixel 9

Tried turning it off then on the get the message and all is OK

There are a few Pixel users on here, but you are the first to report a problem.

Might be SIM related

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

No issue here either. I’d try a reboot first then a clear of all cache and data in case of a corrupt file.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thanks all. Randomly, I kept the visual voicemail off for a couple of days and tried reenabling it again, and it worked fine with no restarts. I don't know what happened but seems like it just sorted itself out. I left myself a voicemail and it got displayed and transcribed as well.
