Using usb to download music to phone

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am new at this, however, I managed to download a music track from my pc to my Galaxy Fit yesterday via the usb.  Today my pc and phone do not seem to be communicating.  In fact Kies doesnt seem to detect my phone at all.  I have also noticed that when the usb is connected to my phone it isnt seeing it either.  Any suggestions?

If you go into the settings and search for USB options. Check that mass storage device is enabled. Kies is a funny beast as well.

I find using the Mass Storage option is quicker and more reliable. Search for the folder called Music or your external drive (Ext-SD) and copy your music directly. Samsung Kies is one load of nonsense.

If your handset supports Kies Air then it's far easier to use as it runs within a web browser. I hope this helps.
