So I just upgraded my mobile phone contract and gave my old mobile to my partner who is on a different network.

He put his sim into the phone and then incorrectly entered the PUK code so now the phone is blocked.

I have no idea how to fix this. His sim still works on his old phone, so the issue isnt on his end. I think I need the device unlocked but at the moment I cant get through to o2 customer services by phone at all.

How do I fix this please?

I tried that and it now says

SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK.

Any ideas?

No way you got an unlock code that quick but anyway, the phone is hardlocked now.

I had already requested the PUK code and had tried it as I mentioned in the original question. It is not the PUK cose I need. I don't know how to fix it since it is hard locked and I need help with that.

Do you know how to fix it once it is hardlocked?

Hi @Lerato , sorry for the delay in getting to your topic here it's been very busy. 😞 Thanks for tagging us in @MI5

It sounds like you'd need an unlocking code from the manufacturer. I'll see if we can help request one for you. I'll need a few additional bits of information to be able to pass this on to someone on our end so will drop you a private message here on the forum shortly.
