Hi @Anonymous We have had people on here who have never been able to unlock. O2 won't take responsibility for the unlock...(unless any change recently?)

Depending on when you bought it either real easy or impossible.
Follow instructions here to find out http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SI...

To be honest I haven't seen anyone on here who have been able to unlock this phone, exclusive to O2 as was but between O2 & Amazon, they can't seem to or are reluctant to unlock.

Thats why I posted 'unless anything has changed'. I didn't hear of anyone on the forum who managed it..

Early handsets sold before April of launch year, if I recall correctly, are impossible to unlock. Later ones are OK, hence why I said it depends when you bought it.
