Just wondering if 4G+ is something that is specific to o2 branded hardware? I had a locked S8 and got it regularly, now have an unlocked S9 and haven't seen it yet only regular 4G. Also I had to manually enter the APNs as the one it had for o2 was incorrect and showed signal level but no connection.

Could still be the wrong apn.
Try texting the word "active" to 2020
However, not all phones will show it so it does depend on firmware.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I’d keep trying but you can check them manually here

Thanks again. That sites settings match the ones I entered/am using. I'm guessing it must be something in o2 specific firmware only that enables the plus.
