Did you buy the Huawei off e-Bay?

Would help to know what network it is currently locked to...

Yes from eBay. So I don’t know which network it is locked to.  Plus it said SIM FREE so I don’t understand why it won’t accept my current usable o2 sim

You need to contact the seller to find out what network it is locked to.

Or return the phone to the seller

Many insurance scams with sellers on eBay

Yes I bought off eBay.  I’ll phone the provider tomorrow’s but really need it up and running today, they advertised it as SIM FREE

It's not as advertised. I personally would never buy off eBay

To get it working today your only chance would be to find out which network sim you can use by contacting the seller and buying a P&G sim from a corner shop or supermarket
