Just upgraded my old Samsung to the J5 (2016). Had to replace sim. Transferred all my old contacts and messages etc but unable to send or receive texts. What am I doing wrong?

Open messages, settings and type in the message centre number :
Pay Monthly   +447802000332
Pay & Go       +447802092035

Edited to ask if everything else is working ok on your phone?

It's possible the sim swap hasn't fully completed yet.
Reboot the phone and try again in a few hours.
