Travel Bolt On

Anonymous
Not applicable

I was in my local o2 store and enquired about the bolt on Travel for my PAY AND GO Galaxy Ace phone as i am going to spain.

The o2 assistant said he would add travel  it as i would get 25mg a day data at £1.99 and  also said (which i think was incorrect) that calls would cost only me a 50p connection charge. Could someone tell me if this is correct or incorrect please remember it is a PAY AND GO.

Many thanks

The data charges are correct - you're charged £1.99 for up to 25MB of data use per day while in Spain under the O2 Travel scheme.

However you are correct - the 50p connection charge does not apply to Pay-as-you-Go. The correct charges (Spain->UK) are:

28p per minute to make calls and 7p per minute to receive calls, and 8p per text message sent.

You can check O2 Travel charges @ http://international.o2.co.uk/internationaltariffs/travelling_abroad - simply enter the name of the country you're travelling to and click the big "Pay as you Go" button on the right to get the correct charges.
