Can anyone help ?? i have transferred my sim from my S2 to my S4 without saving the contacts to my sim first. Can the labouriuos task of typing in the contacts be saved easier i.e. by downloading them to a PC and then onto the new S4. i have tried looking through windows explorer but i can't find the contacts data ??

If so, just sign into the same account on your S4 and they will automatically sync back to the new phone.
If not, you can copy them to an SD card in the S2 then transfer the SD card to the S4 and import them or use a transfer tool from Play such as MyPhoneExplorer.
Samsung Kies is another option but it would require you using 2 different versions of the programme to complete the task, so is not the easiest option for you.

All your items stored in your google account can be simply changed over including contacts, calendar etc. Simply follow the links when signing into google on the new phone.
