Stagefright update for S5 and Note 10.1 2014

Hi,

I spoke to Samsung about the updates for Stagefright and was told that there were some updates beyond the 5.0 that I currently have on my S5.  Does anyone know when the updates may be coming through.  Also regarding my  Note 10.1 2014 which currently has 4.4 is there any likelihood that it will be updated also?

S5 will be updated but if it's an O2 phone it will be down to them to roll out the update.
Same applies to the Note but only if Samsung update it beyond KK.

I have the Note 10.1 2014 as well. I don't think Samsung has any intention of upgrading the OS beyond KitKat.

The note 12.2 has updated to lollipop and I believe is a similar soc.
It's possible it may update.

As you can see in my sight also have a 10.1 tab pro. I'm happy with kk, the last update I had in June rendered the wifi useless and I had to factory reset. That was only a minor update. Honestly you gain absolutely nothing by these updates. KK is fine and I'm saying that with all the latest updates on the Note 4.

Thanks for that.  I guess the Note will not be updated. I'll wait to see what O2 do about the S5.  I want to upgrade in a few months but  I think I will hold off to see how O2 are with updates.

I'm not too worried about the Note as I don't have any sensitive stuff on it. I'm more concerned with the S5 tho.

This morning Note 4
