I love this S9+, but when I want to slap a picture on the forum, it's always too big. So I change the settings down and it still won't bloody fit. (I'm sick of changing settings and cropping them, but still not fitting)
So what's the best way of squishing them down, or is it best to externally host them and paste in the link?
Your help is appreciated!

Squishing, @Anonymous? Haven't heard that one for a while. If you mean compressing the file size of the photo, try this. It's free: https://compressjpeg.com/
Edit: I've changed the URL so you can compress a photo, not a .pdf

I use this app because photos are way to big with these mega-pixel cameras.
Works great, forget the first few reviews

I do it a very cockeyed way if uploading from my phone.
I send the pic to myself via messenger and then upload from there. I think Messenger compresses them.
Or I save to my PC pictures folder and upload from there (using PC)

There are many ways to be honest, some fiddly and some not quite so fiddly.
If you know you are going to upload them, then it's as easy to use the settings on the camera.

Thank you everyone, I'll try all the methods provided and see what's what!
Shame we can't pin things like this.. I'll be back here all the time for the links!

post image works fine
As I said many different ways but I prefer an app rather than using postimage on my phone.

Maybe admin can pin or just add to your favourites
A guide wouldn't really help as what works for some won't work for others
I think it's better to just answer the question when asked
.....unless someone wants to write a guide......?
