Hi everyone, need advice or help.I bought my friend a Sony Experia L2 phone at the end of February and now it’s seems to have developed a fault.Theres a black line on the screen.I have the receipt and stuff. The phones has not been dropped looks like new.My friend doesn’t want the phone sent away cause what are you supposed cause she would be without a phone for a few weeks.Would the store replace it?

@Charlieboyoo if  it's within 28 days they will replace it, if not it goes for repair, however, we would always recommend you went directly to Sony rather than use O2 repairs.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Charlieboyoo  It's highly doubtful that O2 would replace it. I wouldn't trust them to do a repair either. My suggestion is to contact Sony support. https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support Your friend will most likely have to send it in. They can just pick up a cheap phone on Amazon or CEX to use as a backup until this one gets repaired.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Hello @Charlieboyoo

Well if it were Argos I think they would.

It depends where you bought it but I would certainly go and ask.

It is new and should still be under a guarantee, look at your receipt.

Always be positive and ask for a replacement.

Be careful about what they suggest if not a replacement.

Take time don't "just hand it over" go back home and consider

your options.  Ask what your options are.

Best of Luck

Hi @Charlieboyoo

I read on Argos site :   that Sony xperia L2  ~ Manufacturers 2 year guarantee.

You can read this for yourself on the Argos Site.

Again you are best making enquiries and considering everything before taking

any steps.  As posted here too :   if necessary you can contact Sony about it.
