I had collected this model only just yesterday after being advised by a guru that this phone has WiFi calling. It doesn't.

Doesn't have 4g calling either...
But once o2 add it to the allowed devices list I'm sure it will.

@viridis ?
@Wi-Fi1 have you enabled it on your account first?

I would maybe look at attempting to contact customer relations regarding this but that's just me.

As per the store page here under Technical Specifications:

Connectivity

Wi-Fi and 4G Calling Yes

So the device is being sold as it can use those network features. If it is not able to then maybe it should say no, or yes but maybe in brackets stating in the near future etc instead of simply yes when you can't use it because that is miss-leading sales material.

Kindest Regards,
Andrew.

Thanks for flagging this to us. During testing and up to launch, everything looked good for Wifi Calling. Our team are aware and investigating. As soon as we have any updates we'll let everyone know

Is there any update on the wifi calling for the Xperia 1?

Also where can I find the list of approved wifi calling devices?
