My galaxy s6 battery is poor. My husband (vodafone customer) has an old S6 I want to use instead as he has since upgraded. I put in my sim but it advised it was locked. We contacted Vodafone to no avail as the old phone is not connected to his account anymore. Is it my sim that is locked or the phone? In current circs I can't speak to anyone about it to resolve and need a reliable phone

It's the phone which is locked to Vodaphone.

O2's guide on unlocking is here

Only Vodafone can can unlock it, not O2 but if they won't you can usually get unlock codes cheaply off eBay.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
