@Poppysmum you may not have to swap sim cards. Take a good look at your sim. If you can see an outline of a perforation, you can pop the nano sim out and use it that way.

^^^^^ True.

It also looks as if @MI5 may be offline for a while, so when you have the S6 later on.... and if you need more help than I have shown initially .....I am sure other Android users will be take you through the steps needed to transfer stuff from the S5 mini to your new device wink

The sim for the S5 mini is a micro sim. For S6 it needs to be the smaller one (nano). If you can't push it out you may not have been given the 3-1 sim.. @Poppysmum

Nothing else I can add really as you've already got good advice.
Smartswitch is the one to use now, just follow the on screen prompts and all will be good slight_smile

@Poppysmum As @Cleoriff has said, you will need to change sims from micro to nano. If you do not see any perforation on the sim you have now, the easiest thing to do is to go into an O2 store where they will give you a nano sim and swap your number over for you. It's a very simple process, and although they say it can take up to 24 hours to swap, it's normally much quicker than that. When I did it a year ago it only took about 20 minutes. Barring that, you can call customer service and request that a blank nano sim be sent to you. I'm not certain if they send just the nano sim or include it in a 3 in 1. Once you receive the blank you would need to do the swap yourself online here: http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/

All new sims should now be 3 in 1 and if you are going in store to get the phone they will switch you over at the same time.

I believe @Poppysmum is just ordering it from Argos, as they don't have the model she wants yet. It won't come with a sim. She'll have to then go into her local O2 store and get a sim to do the swap, which she's not too keen to do, or do it online herself.

It was. @Poppysmum was looking at the S6 and thought she found the S6 neo which was cheaper When I asked her to double check it... was the S5 Neo she was actually looking at. As I understand it...the S6 is in stock...?
