Samsung galaxy S2 in washer - options?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

Hi,

I stupidly put my samsung galaxyS 2 through a quick wash in the washer today.  I've taken the batteryout, dried it off and put it in a bag of rice.

I didn't try and turn it on.

I'm going to leave it a few days. If it works I will be so happy.

What are my options if it doesn't work? I still have 9 months left on my contract. Can I buy a cheap o2 PAYG mobile and put my sim in that?

Thanks.

Check it's not covered on your contents insurance.

You have done the right thing but if it doesn't work in a few days, just get another phone and put your sim in it.

Let us know how you get on.
