Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge not charging

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi - my son's phone stopped charging recently and we were told in store that we could get this fixed under warranty. However it has now been returned with the message that they couldn't find any fault with the charging components so essentially it's not their problem. I can claim on the insurance but it's a £60 excess which obviously I'm reluctant to pay given the next phone may also suffer from the same defect.

Reading some posts on other forums it seems that this is not an uncommon problem with the Samsung Galaxy phones.

So my question is whether it is worth pursuing this further with O2, or if I should just pay the excess and hope that we are luckier next time? Any guidance much appreciated

Don't know whether to admire their honesty for once or just shake my head in total bewilderment at their complete ineptitude.... decided.... my head is shaking!!
