Hey. I got my galaxy s3 yesterday and since then i have been trying to connect it to my home router but it isn't working.. I have set everything up withing the router; entered the MAC adress of my phone, then entered then pressed connect on my galaxy s3, entered the password and it says connecting all the time and never connects. I can connect to BT openzone no problem but it has a very poor signal and connection keeps dropping therefore i of course want to use my own wifi.
If this will be any help, my contract is On & On, £36, unlimited minutes, texts, 1GB or memory and free wifi BTopenzone.

I had issues also: http://http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Samsung/S3-wifi-issues/td-p/235873
It turns out the SG3 doesn't play nice with certain router/access points. I had to change mine, to get wifi access in my house.

I don't know what kind of router you have - but I fixed this problem by changing the settings in my BT HomeHub router to use channel 6 instead of channel 1 - it's working fine now
