SIM card error

Hi

SIM card has stopped working on my S10 plus. Have tried all the various options such as cache reset and reset network settings through to a full factory reset.

SIM registers fine in another phone.

S10 detects the SIM in slot 1 or 2 but won't connect to the o2 network, even though it sees it on a manual search.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like phone is either faulty or barred.

Check IMEI here to see if blacklisted https://www.imei.info/

Hi,

 

No luck so far. Bought a new SIM card tray and that didn't fix it. It works for calls over WIFI so I can make calls but still not actually recognised for text messages etc.

 

A trip to a physical shop (!) Samsung or O2 may be the next step.
