Hi All,
My Samsung S3 has started to completely freeze on me every day, I get a black screen and when I press buttons nothing happens so I have to end up taking the battery out and put it back in again for phone to work again.
I was doing this a few months ago but not as bad and I took to O2 Store they did a system restore on it which seemed to work until now and is worse
it also gets stuck on the unlock screen bit and sometimes when making calls
what do you suggest I do? Is it the software or just the phoned Knackered?
Less then year old too
Thanks

Check on phone in Settings >About device >software update or connect phone to a PC running Kies.

First off, connect to Kies to ensure you have the latest update and then back everything up. If you an app that's causing problems have a look at getting rid of seldom used ones and uninstalling.
If you still have roblems, switch the phone off. [Press volume up, menu and on/switch until phone begins to start up and then release the buttons.
You should get the bootloader screen. Use the volume button to scroll down to factory reset and press on/off switch to cary out reset. Restore from Kies.
You could use the above description to clear the cache partition first if you want to try before restoring.

When was that update released please? I have similar issue with freezing, though it does not happen very often. I'm on XXELLA, and have just checked for upgrades, but it says I have the latest.
