S6 signal strength

Anonymous
Not applicable
I've seen a couple of other posts about this but no helpful fixes.

I got my s6 on 24 month contract in may 15. I've had dreadful signal since. There is rarely more than 1 bar of network signal, poor 3 or 4g connection in appropriate areas and it often switches between wifi (that works) and this poor 3g connection.

O2 service is good in my area and the s4 that lives in my house also has great connection.

I've had the sim changed by o2 already.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous Have you checked your signal via this route? http://status.o2.co.uk/

If you have no problems with similar phones on O2 in the same area it would point to a faulty phone.
Contact Samsung to have them look at it under warranty.

It depends on which mast the phone latches on to as it doesn't always connect to the closest to you
