Hi there,
I'm experiencing what seems to be a quite widespread issue with my S3. It's basically become unusable as a phone, i can hear people perfectly, but people can't hear me (or to be precise I' am extreemly quiiet and can only be heard if I shout).
It seems to intermitently change from happening on the entire call or happening after 1/2 a minute into the call.
I have so far:
- Canceled noise reduction
- Ensured my hands aren't over the mic.
- Checked volume settings in call.
Can anyone help or do I just have to return my phone?

if u have tried everything.... have u done a reset?
BACK UP, then go for a reset
i keep saying to those that update/updated.... do a back up n reset... sometimes when u do a update, the files get mixed up. by resetting, u r stopping that from happening

Hi yes I did do a full reset.
Took it in and they found an issue with the microphone, repaired and returned very fast, however since it's come back I've not started getting a message saying the SD card has been ejected (then reinserted and sometimes ejected again)
Anyone know about this one?

When u insert the memory card make sure its peoperly locked in.
Or... go to SETTINGS and the STORAGE. Scroll down to to SDCARD. Try the UNMOUNT/MOUNT.
Hopefully that should do it

Hi all. New here today. While browsing this forum I couldn't help bit have a bit of agiggles at this topic. I too had the exact same problem. It was the way I was holding the phone. My little finger was covering the mic on the bottom of the phone.
Hope this helps.
Steve.

i later realised it was because i didn't have my ear on the speaker bit. i had it on the screen. as the iPhone 4 was slightly smaller, that wasn't an issue.
without sounding like i'm taking the mick, are you sure you've lined your mouth up with the speaker properly?
