Rubbish battery on Samsung Galaxy III

Anonymous
Not applicable

My new Samsung Galaxy III runs out of juice ridiculously quickly.  I can almost watch it go down.  I've done everything I can think of to save battery and power.  I don't use the phone that much, don't listen to music, play games or surf the net.  Any ideas?  Could I have a duff battery?

You can check the general sync settings in Settings >Accounts then click into each of your accounts and look at the sync intervals. Also, particularly in Facebook, open the app and press Menu >Settings >Refresh Interval. Set this to none as its not used by the S3 anyway.

What does the battery graph say is using the most power? and don't forget to check in the actual FB app settings too.
