Remove and reinsert the SIM card, after wiping it carefully with a lint-free cloth@Christinawalsh6 - Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? 

Otherwise a trip into an O2 shop with valid photo id for them to change the SIM card (don't be pushed into accepting an eSIM either, fraught with difficulties on O2.).
