When I make a receive a call half way through the call I get a garbled/robotic sound and the call drops out, it doesn't do it everytime but it's frustrating, also on messenger when you are talking it sounds like something is crackling in the background, my phone( samsung a12) is only 6 months old and I still have 2 and half years on the contract, I never had this problem before with o2, I've tried swapping the sim, I've called o2 and they said it could be a network problem, has anyone else had this problem?

It's an often reported problem.

Check for network issues here O2 Service Status and if nothing showing, report it through the my network app.

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Sounds like a faulty phone, you would be best speaking directly to samsung via https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/

And they will recommend the best course of action.

Thank you, I've rang Samsung and they haven't given me a few things to try but won't really know if they have truly worked or not until it happens again, and o2 did say something about the network and they are working on it but who knows, thank you anyway guys
