i pay my bill via online and it takes roughly 24 hours to update, keep a hold of teh email as it will have your transaction number on their, so if it dont come off your balance when you log onto my o2 when you call customer services you can give them that transaction number and they can trace the payment on their system but to be honest its nothing to worry about just have to wait for the system to update
