I updated to 4.3 Sense 5.5 yesterday and now I have no way to access my calendar even though it shows it shows it's syncing and I can access it normally on another phone. Can't use it from any calendar app and it won't show up on BlinkFeed either even though it is synced there too in the settings

I'm not surprised wink

Factory reset time I'm afraid 😞

Have you backed up the phone and carried out a factory reset?

This will be required after a software update.

First try Settings >Apps >All.
Find Calendar, Calendar Storage & Calendar widget and clear cache & date.
If still no good, do a reset of entire phone.

Thanks,I've tried it but no change. Oddly none of the caches will clear on the apps and on many others. They stay at 12 kb permanently. I had a Chat with o2 Technical support earlier. They said taking out the SIM and then replacing it was a sure fix. Didn't work.

Really appreciate your help, guys. Hesitant to do a reset as I'd expect that to put me back to android 4.2 then have the phone keep asking me to update all over again.

No, not at all. You can't change firmware that way.

Just tried clearing the calendar data and caches again b4 doing fill reset, this time around it worked on the ninth attempt and the 12 kb stuck in all 3 caches cleared..Noticed the calendar data kept reloading after clearing it so I've opened the calendar app and YES!! I've got my calendar back. Thank you so much for your help. You should be working for o2 Technical. So pleased with this community.
