So my Samsung Note 9 has decided not to charge up (works when wireless charging) I've only had it 7 months.... Is this something I should talk to O2 about or Samsung? I've never had a faulty phone before. Worst bit is I'm being deployed in 2 weeks time so could kind of do with the ability to charge it with a cable!

@Meady

Have you tried cleaning the charging port or a different cable?

We would always recommend going directly to Samsung rather than O2 but it's your choice ultimately.

If you have a Samsung experience store nearby it would be the quickest way.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

[a different cable but definitely deal with Samsung otherwise. I wouldn't be trusting O2 Repairs (Anovo) with a thousand pound piece of technology.

Either your charging port is faulty(clearly the charging cicuit is working or it wouldnt charge wirelessly), or the charging cable is broken. Im guessng that you have used the same charger plug and cable on your wireless charger and then un pluuged and tried it in your phone? If you have and its not chaeging then its your socket.

Id send it back to Samsung not O2.

Hope the deployment is a safe one
